Connections

Cohesion is not a natural trait in man. It can be seen in nature. It can be observed in science. Things were made to bond together. There is something about people that prevents us from connecting with the same apparent ease. We all have our own agendas. We have different ideas, priorities, and values. Combine that with our natural propensity toward selfishness and you will find cohesion and connectivity don’t typically just happen. They have to be built, fought for, and maintained. That’s what makes unity such a beautiful thing. It doesn’t just happen. When you see it, it is a result of love, respect, and hard work. In seeing how easy it is for people to butt heads and enter into conflict I have come to appreciate the times were everything links together and flows smoothly.
