The Power of Words

Words are the greatest weapon man has ever known. Words create or destroy. Words inspire or imprison. Words comfort or discourage. Words reveal our hearts or conceal our intentions. What we say and how we say it matters for like it or not, acknowledge it or not, our words make a difference to those who hear them. No tool has been more useful nor weapon more destructive. Words have power both to change the way we view our reality and to transport us from it to a world unlike anything we have seen or known.

I started writing when I was in 6th grade. I scribbled ideas and stories into enough notebooks to destroy a small forest. I like writing. Most of the time I don’t write because I want to. I write because I am driven to.

Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.   — George Orwell

  • I write books on Christianity in efforts to impact and transform lives with the message of the Gospel.
  • I write fiction books to entertain. Stories can get in your head. Sometimes the only way to get them out is to put them into words.
